Waterfront Golf Living
Waterfront golf living at Rarity Bay is one of their top amenities. Rarity Bay combines the expected luxuries of plentiful amenities with the special pleasures only an environmentally-sensitive community can offer. Membership in various private club activities is endless.
Championship Waterfront Golf Living

The creators of the Rarity Bay golf course couldn’t have found a more ideal setting to work with. D.J. DeVictor and Peter Langham joined together to design not only an incredible championship golf course, but an incredible experience. The breathtaking Great Smoky Mountains and Tellico Lake sit beyond the 150 acres of rolling green hills on this par-72, 18-hole championship course. A perfect place to retire for waterfront golf living.
Grand Swimming & Tennis Club
Adjacent to the Clubhouse, the Grand Swimming & Tennis Club at Rarity Bay features an outdoor pool and tennis courts. Enjoy an active swim or tennis match and then relax inside the Clubhouse with a cool drink. Memberships to this club will enhance your Rarity Bay experience and lifestyle.
Equestrian Center
Along with the best waterfront golf living the Rarity Bay Equestrian Club is an outstanding facility providing carefully-maintained stables and a lighted show arena and is managed by a staff of trained professionals.
Boating Club with Waterfront Golf Living
Residents can enjoy private docking privileges at one of the many boat slips located at Rarity Bay. Tellico Lake’s waters are the perfect place to witness Rarity Bay from a different perspective and enjoy a day out on the boat.
Community Gardens
Rarity Bay residents create their own nature experiences throughout the community’s gardens. Planting flowers, fruits and vegetables is a great way to not only get some fresh air, but also spend some time with neighbors and friends doing something you truly love.
Walking Trails
To enhance Rarity Bay’s lifestyle of healthy, active living, there are miles of walking trails throughout the community that showcase the magnificent views and surroundings. Enjoy a light stroll or brisk walk and get acquainted with the community you now call home.
New! Community Dog Park
The residents of Rarity Bay came together to create a community dog park, Rusty’s Place, which was dedicated and opened September 10, 2010. The park is maintained by Rusty’s Place members and sits on a one to two-acre parcel with sweeping views all around. Rarity Bay members can contact Sue Seitz at 423.884.2894 for membership information and rules. The park’s website is www.dogparkofraritybay.com.
